Info: Anastrozole, like other anti-estrogens, regulates the amount of estrogen in the body. Controlling your estrogen will help you preserve the look you already have while on drugs that convert to estrogen and stop the bad from happening. This is beneficial to the bodybuilders who are preparing for the fight. When anastrozole binds to aromatase, it causes it to convert testosterone into estrogen. It does not bind to the enzyme (see permanent aromatase inhibitors). Removing the medication causes a temporary spike in estrogen. This isn't in general a problem for most people, but if there is an issue, they could cut the dose of Anastrozole over a few weeks before stopping completely. Anastrozole isn't very frequently used, so the dynamic dosing of this drug is beneficial.
EFFECTS :
It is reducing the amount of estrogen that is in the body, and 80% to 85% of the estrogens in the blood are actually stopped by this drug. This is very effective to prevent side effects such as breast soreness, retention of water, and gynecomastia due to high estrogen levels.
DOSE AND DURATION OF USE:
Treatment with anastrozole should last no longer than 2 weeks. It is likewise efficient as pre-cycle therapy PCT or in small quantities, appropriately male, from 0.50 mg every day or every other day to 0.25 mg every day. The standard dose for women shouldn’t exceed 0.75 mg daily. A dose higher than 1 to 3 mg daily is needed only infrequently.
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS:
Some of the possible side effects are fatigue, headaches, hot flashes, high blood pressure, joint pain, and sometimes sadness, along with nausea and/or vomiting.
COMBINATION WITH OTHER MEDICINES:
Anastrozole, similarly to Nolvadex Tamoxifen Citrate, helps combat estrogen side effects, but unlike Nolvadex, it blocks the creation of estrogen and simultaneously reduces the amounts of estrogen hormone in the body.
CAUTION!
Do not use anastrozole without checking your blood estrogen levels. Decreasing too much estradiol can be detrimental to your steroid cycles.
