Info: Aromasin 25mg, a drug with exemestane, is an aromatase inhibitor used in the treatment of postmenopausal women with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer. It achieves this by lowering the levels of estrogen in the body thus slowing the growth of cancer cells. Aromasin works by blocking the aromatase enzyme which is required in the synthesis of estrogen from androgens. Even though ovarian estrogen production is low in postmenopausal women, small amounts from other areas may fuel cancer development.

Correct Usage and Dosage

The suggested dosage is one capsule per day, it is advisable to take it after eating with a glass of water.

Benefits of Aromasin

The present meta-analysis suggests that adjuvant endocrine therapy increases the DFS in postmenopausal women with early-stage breast cancer who have undergone surgery.
The results showed an increased overall survival of the postmenopausal women with advanced breast cancer.

Limited Adverse Effects
