Info: Liothyronine Sodium (Cytomel, T3) is a synthetic version of the thyroid hormone triiodothyronine (T3), used for treating hypothyroidism as well as various other thyroid-related conditions in medicine. It is also abused by bodybuilders and sportsmen for increasing energy consumption and reducing weight. T3 mimics how thyroxine functions in the human body. It speeds up metabolism, by making the body’s cells use more nutrients and fat for energy.
